Il Sogno Bianco – Behind the Scenes of "Swan Lake”

IL SOGNO BIANCO – Behind the Scenes of “Swan Lake” at Teatro alla Scala, a special by Chiara Ribichini, directed by Flavio Maspes and edited by Fabio Ferri, produced by Sky TG24 in collaboration with Teatro alla Scala, takes the audience to the very heart of the theatrical machine that brought the latest production of the celebrated ballet to life.
One hundred and fifty years after the composition of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s renowned score, the special opens a window behind the scenes of the masterpiece in the historic choreographic version by Rudolf Nureyev, revived on stage in Teatro alla Scala’s 2024/2025 season. At the centre are Étoile Nicoletta Manni, in the dual role of Odette/Odile, and Principal Dancer Timofej Andrijashenko as Prince Siegfried — her partner both on stage and in life. Together with Frédéric Olivieri, Director of the Teatro alla Scala Ballet Company, they guide the viewer to the place where everything takes shape.
